What inspires our community? ?

Inspired by the vision of human-centered education, we have been nurturing children and youth since 2004 through Waldorf Pedagogy, supported by national and international official validation mechanisms.

Why do we base ourselves on Waldorf Pedagogy?

Teachers work with an artistic vision of life, making it the guiding thread of Waldorf teaching. We value close and deep accompaniment with each student, knowing that children and young people learn by example, so we strive to do rather than give instructions. In this way, we facilitate self-learning in students, the engine of authentic education for life.

The Waldorf Pedagogy is an education based on high human values, and therefore, we seek the integral development of the human being by nurturing their physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental-cognitive needs. This is possible when, as educators, we recognize that human development occurs in various stages within a process that must be known, understood, and respected, so that study plans and programs can be established that correspond to this reality. These crucial developmental phases are known in Waldorf Pedagogy as seven-year cycles:

How have we achieved deep knowledge in the education of children and young people?

Since our foundation in 2004, we have been providing a safe, warm, beautiful, and natural environment where families and teachers come together seeking the educational integrity of children and young people, and natural educational environment.

In these years of systematic and constant work, we have based ourselves on Anthroposophy and its derivation in Waldorf Pedagogy; based on this, we have designed our methodological, didactic, organizational, and administrative scheme, which allows us to be a self-sustainable anthroposophical enterprise. At the same time, we are one of no more than a dozen Waldorf schools in the world that have bio-dynamic farms and gardens integrated into the daily pedagogical processes. Regarding teachers and collaborators, we seek a healthy, profound, and human relationship with each child and young person; this allows us to provide them with the individual, social, and academic tools necessary to develop their talents and abilities within the ever-changing and dynamic world of today and the near future.

Today, Waldorf Los Caracoles stands as a benchmark in the Waldorf-Steiner pedagogical world, a living organism built upon solid values and foundations, with a humanistic and ecological vocation, and an extraordinary physical environment where our campus is located.

  • Solid methodological foundation

Our educational approach is grounded in the methodology and didactic established by Rudolf Steiner, enriched by later contributions and the ongoing developments of over a century of Waldorf Education.

  • Real Experience

Our Caracoles model integrates traditional elements of Waldorf Education, curricular updates, and adaptations to our cultural context, encouraging our students to enrich themselves with an education that is functional for the present and future.

  • We Create Together

Learning by doing allows each member of our community to be part of an institution that is constantly evolving.

  • Waldorf Voice

Our pedagogical foundation allows us to develop happy, self-confident children and young people with a global perspective and a clear disposition to find their purpose in life.

  • Quality of Life Above All

We create a friendly environment on our campus, balanced between indoor and outdoor spaces. We also avoid the use of technology for children and young people in order to foster a genuine connection with themselves and with the ecosystem.

  • Focus on the individual

Each individual is a universe unto themselves. Therefore, we always seek to weave their social development from the strengths and weaknesses revealed to the eyes of an educator committed both to their work and to the lives of their students.

  • Doing

Waldorf: a pedagogy that weaves together hands, heart, and mind, both individually and socially. A contemporary, living educational program with its gaze set on the changing future of humanity, sustained by the anthroposophical vision of Rudolf Steiner.

¿Where are we located?

Our campus is located in one of the main basins of the State of Mexico, Valle de Bravo, a place where we have built a respectful interconnection with both the natural environment and the people of traditional communities. This has allowed us to transcend, as we are ensuring that the children and young people we educate preserve the earthly paradise of which we are a part.
